What to look for when selecting such systems

The label of a UPS system should include the following information:

  • Manufacturer,

  • Device type,

  • Construction number,

  • Rated power,

  • Power factor,

  • Input voltage,

  • Nominal output voltage and frequency.

Finally, the delivery of the system must be accompanied by the following documents:

  • Single line system design,

  • Description of the alarm control panel,

  • Factory test sheets,

  • Manufacturer’s certificate for the life expectancy of the batteries,

  • Operation Maintenance Manual,

  • The connections of the device with the input-output lines,

  • Manufacturer’s warranty.
